About Whitesnake

Whitesnake were an English rock band formed in London in 1978. The group was originally assembled as the backing band for singer David Coverdale following his departure from Deep Purple. Although the band developed into an independent entity, Coverdale remained the only constant member throughout its history. After releasing the EP "Snakebite" in 1978, Whitesnake issued the studio albums "Trouble" (1978) and "Lovehunter" (1979), which featured songs that became concert staples
