About

Music is geography.

Every song was written somewhere. Every album charted somewhere else. GetMusic is an atlas — a living catalog that maps the world's recorded music by who made it, where it came from, and where it travels.

What we map

GetMusic aggregates data from TheAudioDB, Last.fm, and MusicBrainz — three of the most trusted open music databases — and weaves them into a single coherent catalog. For every artist, we show biography, discography, social presence, and a fingerprint of where in the world people are listening. For every album, we show its chart footprint across dozens of countries, its release context, and its editorial story.

This is not a streaming service. We don't replace Spotify, Apple Music, or Deezer — we point to them. GetMusic is a reference work: the place you come to when you want to understand a record, an artist, a scene.

A partnership: GET MEDIA & D Plus Anatolia

GET MEDIA Entertainment Business Solutions brings the editorial, commercial, and strategic side — a decade of experience in digital media, content platforms, and brand partnerships. GET MEDIA runs sister platforms filmafisi.com.tr and getmovie.com.tr, creating a shared ecosystem for film, cinema, and music audiences.

D Plus Anatolia brings the engineering — full-stack development, platform architecture, automated content pipelines, and a commitment to craft. GetMusic's sync engine, its world map, its editorial templates — all built in-house.

Together, GET MEDIA and D Plus Anatolia turn public data into a curated experience. Not just information — context, geography, story.

How the catalog grows

  1. Our sync engine queries Last.fm every day for the world's most-listened-to artists.
  2. For each artist, TheAudioDB provides biographical data, images, and the core discography.
  3. MusicBrainz fills the gaps — detailed release history, community-sourced genre tags, and links to every major streaming platform.
  4. Last.fm's geographic API tells us where each album is charting, country by country. That's what powers the world map.
  5. Our editorial team writes stories — the context databases can't capture.
