About The Verve

The Verve was an English rock band formed in Wigan in 1990 by lead vocalist Richard Ashcroft, guitarist Nick McCabe, bass guitarist Simon Jones, and drummer Peter Salisbury. Guitarist and keyboardist Simon Tong joined the band during its first reunion. The band initially developed a psychedelic and shoegaze sound, showcased on their debut album "A Storm in Heaven."
