About Rae Sremmurd

Rae Sremmurd is an American hip hop duo consisting of brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi, both from Tupelo, Mississippi. The group’s name is derived from “Ear Drummers” spelled backwards. In 2013, they became the first act signed to EarDrummers Records, a label founded by record producer Mike Will Made It and distributed through Interscope Records. The duo gained mainstream recognition in 2014 with the singles "No Flex Zone", "No Type", and "Throw Sum Mo", the latter featuring Nicki Minaj and Young Thug.
