About Modjo

Modjo was a French house music duo formed in Paris in 1999 by producer Romain Tranchart and singer Yann Destagnol. The group gained international recognition with the release of the single "Lady (Hear Me Tonight)" in 2000. They also released the songs "Chillin'" and "No More Tears" in 2001, both of which achieved commercial success. Romain Tranchart was born on 9 June 1976 in Paris. He spent parts of his childhood in Algeria, Mexico, and Brazil. While living abroad, he began learning the guitar, with an early interest in jazz.
