Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, author and actress. She is known for her five-octave vocal range, melismatic singing style, prolific songwriting, and frequent use of the whistle register. In 2023, Rolling Stone ranked her 4th on its list of the greatest singers of all time. Carey rose to prominence with her debut album "Mariah Carey" (1990). She became the first artist whose first five singles reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100
