About Kansas
Kansas is an American rock band formed in Topeka, Kansas, in 1973. The band gained prominence during the 1970s through album-oriented rock radio and later achieved broader commercial success with hit singles such as "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind". Kansas has released multiple commercially successful recordings, including nine gold albums and three multi-platinum albums: "Leftoverture" (5× platinum), "Point of Know Return" (4× platinum), and "The Best of Kansas" (4× platinum).
