About Diana Ross
Diana Ross (born March 26, 1944) is an American singer and actress. She was the lead singer of the vocal group the Supremes, who became one of Motown's most successful acts during the 1960s and one of the best-selling girl groups in history, achieving twelve number-one singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. After leaving the Supremes in 1970, Ross began a solo career with the release of her debut album, "Diana Ross". Between 1972 and 1980, she recorded four top ten albums, with "Diana" being her most successful studio release.
