About Boston

Boston is an American rock band formed in 1975 in Boston, Massachusetts, by songwriter and composer Tom Scholz. The band’s core members included multi-instrumentalist Scholz and lead vocalist Brad Delp, who were the only constant members from 1975 to 1990 and again from 1994 until Delp’s death in 2007. Other musicians have participated at various times throughout the band’s history. Boston experienced significant commercial success during the 1970s and 1980s.
